Passanda Curry Indian recipe food pictures, photos & images.

Pasanda curries originate from Northern Indian and Pakistan. They came from the Court of the Moghul Emperors where Passandas were made with thinly sliced and marinated lamb fillets which were fried with spices and was known as Badam Pasanda. Prior to cooking the lamb is marinated in yoghurt and chilli powder with cumin, pepper, cardamom, and garlic. After a few hours the meat is fried with coriander, cinnamon and finished off with tomatoes and almonds. Restaurant Passandas are usually quite mild and very similar to Korma's except they are usually finished with cardamon pods, pureed tomatoes.
